Job Description – Test Manager (Payments Domain)
Role: Test Manager
Experience: 10+ Years
Location: London, UK (Hybrid Work)
Current Location: Candidates must be based in London and have RTW
Notice Period: Immediate Joiner or Max 30 Days
Contract duration: 4 Months
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager with strong expertise in the Payments domain to lead and manage testing activities for banking/payment systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payment schemes and proven leadership in managing testing teams and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage testing activities in alignment with the HB Test Manager and Delivery Lead
- Track progress and provide regular updates as per delivery cadence
- Ensure all testing complies with bank controls, standards, and approved tools
- Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define, review, and approve test scenarios
- Manage end-to-end test lifecycle including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting
- Lead, mentor, and manage squad members (team handling)
- Handle stakeholder communication and ensure alignment across teams
- Manage onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer for new team members
- Work with tools like JIRA / Zephyr for test management and tracking
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Payments domain (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with payment schemes such as:
- Faster Payments
- BACS
- CHAPS
- SEPA
- Excellent understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proven experience in team handling and leadership

- Candidates currently based in London, UK
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a maximum 30 days notice period preferred
