Frontend Web Developer – UI-Focused Build (Vue Preferred) at Platinum Pitches, Remote, £Project Rate

Contract Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Front End Developer to support the build of an early-stage booking platform, Platinum Pitches .

This is a freelance, project-based opportunity focused on building a modern, visually engaging web interface for a booking and discovery platform within the travel and leisure space.

The project prioritises clean UI, strong visual design, and user experience , rather than complex backend systems at this stage.

About the Project:

Platinum Pitches is a new platform designed for touring parks and large motorhomes & RV's (similar to Pitchup), but with a more premium, modern and user-friendly approach.

The focus is on:

  • Large vehicle accessibility (RV’s, fifth wheels, motorhomes)
  • High-quality park discovery
  • A visual, interactive interface (less text-heavy, more intuitive)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop responsive and visually engaging web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Build reusable UI components and structured layouts
  • Translate design direction into clean, functional front-end builds
  • Ensure compatibility across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile)
  • Maintain clean, organised, and scalable code
  • Communicate progress clearly and consistently throughout the project

Phase 1 Scope:

  • Landing page (modern, high-end design)
  • Park listing page (card-based UI layout)
  • Basic dashboard layouts (member + park owner + admin area)
  • Frontend UI only (no complex backend integration required at this stage, but will progress as milestones are completed)

Design Direction:

  • Luxury aesthetic (navy + gold palette)
  • Soft glow / polished visual style
  • Card-based UI (inspired by apps and interactive platforms, not traditional websites)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Experience with modern frameworks (Vue.js preferred, React acceptable)
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working on marketplace or booking platforms
  • Familiarity with backend concepts (for future phases)
  • Experience with animations or micro-interactions
  • Knowledge about touring caravans, RV's and fifth wheelers (but not essential).

Working Structure:

  • Self-employed / freelance basis
  • Project will be split into clear milestones
  • Each milestone is agreed in advance
  • Payment is released upon completion and approval of each stage

Important:

This project requires someone reliable and communicative. Previous delays have occurred due to lack of consistency from a developer, so regular updates and accountability are essential.

How to Apply:

Please include:

  • Examples of previous front-end / UI work
  • Your preferred tech stack
  • Your availability over the next 2–4 weeks
  • A short message explaining why this project interests you
