Product Owner – Digital Fulfilment Discovery (6‑Month Contract)

Primark is accelerating its digital transformation and strengthening the capabilities that power our end‑to‑end customer experience. We’re looking for a Product Owner to lead a major discovery initiative focused on defining a scalable, customer‑centric fulfilment and post‑purchase experience across web and app.
This role sits at the crossroads of e‑commerce, logistics, operations, and technology, shaping the future‑state vision, operating model, and roadmap for a next‑generation fulfilment capability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead an end‑to‑end discovery to define future‑state fulfilment and post‑purchase journeys
- Shape a clear vision across customer experience, operations, and technology
- Translate complex business challenges into structured problem statements and opportunity areas
- Define lifecycle journeys from intent → purchase → fulfilment → returns
- Partner with CX, Design, Product, Engineering, Operations, Data, and Commercial teams
- Define high‑level capabilities across order orchestration, inventory visibility, routing, etc.
- Contribute to an API‑first, modular architecture across OMS, WMS, TMS, and customer platforms
- Support operating model design, governance, and ownership
- Build a phased roadmap (MVP → scale) and support build/buy/partner decisions
- Shape success metrics and embed data‑driven decision‑making
What You’ll Bring
- Proven Product Owner/Product Manager experience in complex, cross‑functional environments
- Strong background in e‑commerce with exposure to logistics, fulfilment, supply chain, or distribution
- Experience leading large‑scale discovery or transformation initiatives
- Deep understanding of order management, fulfilment flows, and post‑purchase ecosystems
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills
Desirable:
- Experience with OMS, WMS, TMS or fulfilment platforms
- Exposure to API‑first/microservices architectures
- Omnichannel experience design
- Consulting or transformation programme background
