Overview

We are seeking experienced Business Analysts to support a major, large-scale digital transformation programme within a complex public service environment. This initiative is focused on modernising systems and processes, enabling greater efficiency, and supporting the evolution of a unified digital service capable of delivering multiple products through a single platform.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic outcomes by analysing current operations, defining future-state processes, and supporting the delivery of an ambitious roadmap aligned to long-term organisational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to gather, analyse, and validate requirements
  • Translate complex processes and policy needs into clear, actionable documentation
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing detailed insights into systems, processes, and operational landscapes
  • Act as a bridge between delivery teams, stakeholders, and wider programme resources to ensure alignment
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement across the programme
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of a scalable, multi-product digital service
  • Facilitate workshops, playback sessions, and reviews to ensure shared understanding and continuous improvement
  • Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and capability-building within internal teams

 

Key Skills & Experience

✔ Proven experience working on complex, large-scale digital transformation programmes

✔ Strong background operating within Agile delivery environments, often under pressure and tight timelines

✔ Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

✔ Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments

✔ Ability to quickly understand complex systems, processes, and subject areas

✔ Proactive approach with confidence navigating ambiguity and driving clarity

 

Desirable Skills

  • Experience or familiarity with large-scale service delivery or benefits/welfare systems
  • Experience contributing to long-term strategic transformation programmes
