IAM Engineer/AI Coding at Platinum Group, London, 6 Months, to £650 per day

Consultant engagement inside IR35 - Upto £650 per day

Platinum Group Security practice is looking for a hybrid technologist who can design secure, scalable Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems while also leveraging AI tools to rapidly prototype, automate, and innovate across the identity landscape.

IAM Integration & Identity Engineering

• Implement and support integrations with IAM systems (SailPoint etc)
• Work on identity data flows including provisioning, transformation, and validation
• Support onboarding of new HR systems into the identity pipeline
• Assist in implementing access control and identity lifecycle processes

AI-Assisted Development ( Vibe Coding )

• Use tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT to accelerate development
• Prototype features and automation quickly using AI-assisted workflows
• Help introduce AI-driven improvements (eg, test automation, data validation, mapping generation)
• Continuously experiment with better ways of building using AI

Testing & Quality

• Help move from manual to automated testing approaches
• Write unit and integration tests across the stack
• Improve reliability and reduce defects in data processing and integrations

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Technical Architect and team to deliver features
• Contribute to an agile, fast-paced development environment
• Share knowledge and help improve engineering practices

IAM Exposure

• Basic to intermediate understanding of IAM concepts
• Experience integrating with identity systems is a plus
• Familiarity with identity lifecycle (joiner/mover/leaver) helpful

AI & Modern Development

• Experience using AI coding tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
• Comfortable working in an AI-assisted development workflow
• Curious and open to experimenting with new tools and approaches

Nice to Have

• Experience with SailPoint or similar IAM tools
• Exposure to Azure cloud services
• Experience implementing automated testing
• Knowledge of identity or security concepts
• Familiarity with data platforms or ETL tooling
