Devops/Systems Engineer at NTPS, Leicester, £20-£50 per hour

Overview

I am looking for an experienced technical individual to assist with the setup and configuration of an AI-driven automation environment that can support operational workflows for a business.

This is an in person role for the first few days.

This engagement is being posted due to personal time constraints. The objective is to work with someone who can help accelerate the initial setup and demonstrate best practices, allowing the system to be expanded internally afterwards.

I am specifically looking to work directly with an independent engineer, not an agency or consulting firm.

Scope of Work

The role will involve installing, configure, and structure an automation framework.

Initial work will focus on:

• configuring the environment
• establishing a basic automation architecture
• setting up a small number of practical workflows
• ensuring the system can be extended and maintained going forward

The engagement should also include a walkthrough of how the system is structured, so that further development can be carried out internally.

The objective is to leave the project with a working foundation and clear understanding of how to build on it.

Required Skills

Strong technical background with experience in areas such as:

• Python or similar scripting languages
• AI / LLM based automation frameworks
• API integrations
• workflow automation
• local or cloud deployment environments

Preferred Experience

Experience working with:

• AI agent systems or automation frameworks
• business workflow automation
• integrating software tools and APIs

Practical experience building real working systems is far more important than theoretical knowledge.

Engagement

Initial engagement expected to be several hours to a small number of sessions focused on setup and walkthrough.

Potential for further collaboration depending on outcome.
