About the Project

We’re looking for a hands-on, delivery-focused Business Analyst / Implementation Lead to support a finance systems transformation at Norwood.

This is a high-impact project. You’ll work directly with the Finance Director, Finance and Technology teams to shape, select, and implement a new finance platform - replacing our current system and setting the foundation for future reporting, insight, and operational efficiency.

You’ll balance technical understanding with stakeholder engagement, owning the journey through to implementation and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Lead finance process discovery, documenting “as-is” workflows and identifying improvements
• Facilitate workshops to define future-state processes and system requirements
• Support system selection including supplier demos, fit-gap analysis, and evaluation
• Act as the bridge between Finance, Technology, and implementation partners
• Oversee UAT, go-live readiness, and transition, ensuring smooth adoption
• Produce clear documentation including requirements, process maps, and reporting frameworks
• Support training, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer post-implementation

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Implementation Lead on finance system projects
• Strong experience implementing ERP or finance platforms
• An understanding and significant experience of finance processes (GL, AP/AR, reporting, budgeting)
• Experience working with senior stakeholders including Finance Directors
• Strong workshop facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements
• Comfortable working in a hands-on project environment with multiple priorities

Desirable:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Salesforce Centinia
• Experience in charity, social care or non-profit environments
• Background in data migration, reporting design, or finance transformation programmes
