IT Project Manager (Contract, UK – Remote/Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to take ownership of a complex mobile and connectivity project focused on secure communication in a regulated environment (e.g. financial services).

This is not a greenfield project - a proof of concept has already been delivered, and the focus is now on driving a full production rollout. Significant build-out is still required, including automation, secure communication features, and VoLTE.

The role

• Own end-to-end delivery of the project (planning, governance, execution)
• Manage a mix of internal teams and external vendors
• Drive delivery across mobile apps (iOS/Android), eSIM, and network integrations
• Manage risks, dependencies, and timelines in a complex, multi-stream environment
• Take full ownership of scope and change control in a client-facing setup

Key challenges

• Complex iOS integration (entitlements and Apple ecosystem)
• Multiple technical dependencies across mobile and network layers
• Delivery of secure communication features and VoLTE within tight timelines
• Working with external partners where timelines may be uncertain

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience delivering complex IT or mobile projects end-to-end
• Strong background in mobile applications (iOS/Android environments)
• Solid project governance experience (planning, RAID, reporting, budgets)
• Experience managing vendors and external stakeholders
• Ability to confidently manage scope and push back when needed

Nice to have

• Exposure to telecom, eSIM or IoT environments
