IT Support Engineer (Backfill)

Location: Aberdeen, UK (Onsite – Subsea7 East Campus)
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 24/7 support (rotational shifts)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide technical support and manage enterprise IT environments. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support across multiple customer environments
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 (O365)
  • Maintain Windows & Linux servers
  • Handle SCCM (software deployment, patching, WSUS)
  • Manage Intune (Autopilot, device policies, security settings)
  • Support Citrix environments (Cloud & On-prem)
  • Administer Azure services
  • Manage enterprise print services
  • Troubleshoot virtual machines and enterprise applications
  • Ensure IT security best practices are followed
  • Work with customers, vendors, and internal teams

Requirements

  • Experience in IT support / infrastructure / operations
  • Hands-on experience in any of these:
  • O365, SCCM, Intune
  • Windows / Linux
  • Citrix / Azure / Print services
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Good communication skills (English)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications (MD-102, Azure, etc.) are a plus

Additional Notes

  • Candidates must be local to Aberdeen (preferably Scottish)
  • Immediate availability required

Pay: £170.00-£185.00 per day
