Software Engineer - Python & Odoo Developer at Crew à la Mode, London Area, £Contract Rate

Company Description

Established in 2009, Crew à la Mode is an apparel and lifestyle agency, supplying luxury performance clothing and lifestyle solutions for super yachts, private aviation, hotels, villas and private residences globally.  

Based in our London Head Office, our project management team manages the sourcing of luxury yacht crew clothing and uniform from key suppliers. Our product line is expanded by our own consciously produced luxury crew clothing range, CALM by CREW, which is designed in-house and distributed from our EU warehouse located in Portugal.

Role Description

We are looking for a skilled software engineer to be the in-house support for our core business systems, specialising in Odoo development, ERP customisation and API integration.

This will initially be on a project contract basis and longer term will be an on-going contract which covers debugging technical issues, troubleshooting and system updates, tailoring it to our unique operational requirements.

Please note this is not a full-time role, this is for contractors and freelancers.

What We Are Looking For

• Odoo Expertise: Demonstrable experience in Odoo development, including custom module creation and workflow configuration.
• Python programming Odoo framework expertise.
• Experience developing API integrations and automations
• Web Technology Skills: Solid grasp of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), particularly within the Odoo framework.
• Mindset: A proactive, self-starter who thrives on solving problems and can manage projects independently.
• Preferred: Experience with ERP systems or knowledge of manufacturing and order management processes.
• Problem-Solving: Serve as the primary technical point of contact, offering creative and effective solutions to complex business challenges.
• Collaborative: Ability to work collaboratively in remote environments with excellent communication skills.
