DevOps Engineer at Quantico Solutions, Remote, £400-£580 per day

A Skilled DevOps Engineer with strong hands‑on experience across AWS , Java , React , Postgres, Node and modern open‑source tooling.

A proven track record building and operating secure, automated, cloud‑native platforms , ideally within public‑sector, policing, justice, or other security‑sensitive environments would be beneficial.T

hey must be comfortable working with LLM‑assisted engineering , Claude is a strong bonus.

In addition to technical depth, we need someone with excellent people skills — someone who collaborates well, communicates clearly, and contributes positively to a distributed engineering team.

Candidates must be UK‑based with active SC clearance and NPPV3 , or be very close to accreditation.

This project is currently in delivery, and we are looking for a 12‑month contract. This role is inside IR35, fully remote with no travel. IT equipment is provided for exclusive use on this programme.

We need individuals who are available quickly. The project is the decommissioning a legacy service operating on a mainframe with a modern data service, which can be easily extended to deliver additional benefits to UK Public Services.

Additional Project background - The project involves:

• Automation & CI/CD Pipelines: Building and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the building, testing, and deployment of code.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Managing and provisioning cloud infrastructure (AWS) programmatically using tools like Terraform or Ansible rather than manual configuration.
• Containerisation & Orchestration : Packaging applications into containers using Docker and managing them at scale with Kubernetes.

Pay: £400.00-£580.00 per day
