Senior Full Stack Engineer (Finance Experience Required)

We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Conquer AI.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can work across the stack, but with real strength in backend systems, data, and platform architecture. You’ll be joining us to help deliver a high-impact project in a complex, commercially critical environment.

This is not a pure frontend role. This is not a role for someone who wants to stay at the architecture-diagram level.

We’re looking for someone who can take messy business processes, turn them into clear technical systems, and ship production-grade software.

What you’ll do

• Build and evolve workflow platforms that support intake, approvals, pipeline management, and execution handoffs
• Design and deliver APIs, services, and integrations across internal platforms, CRM systems, and external data sources
• Translate complex business logic into scalable workflows and backend services
• Design and optimise data models, database layers, and system architecture
• Implement event-driven patterns and near real-time integrations
• Improve reliability, observability, and production readiness across core systems
• Work directly with product, operations, and senior business stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver iteratively

What we’re looking for

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong full stack engineering background, with clear backend depth
• Strong Python and SQL skills, plus solid experience in Java or .NET
• Experience building production-grade web applications and backend services
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and modern engineering tooling
• Experience with messaging and event-driven systems, including Kafka
• Strong database skills, including schema design, query optimisation, and performance tuning
• Ability to work in ambiguity and translate business needs into well-designed systems
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with non-technical stakeholders

Particularly relevant experience

We’d be especially interested in people who have worked on:

• financial services or other complex regulated environments
• workflow-heavy internal platforms
• pipeline, approval, or operational decision-support systems
• CRM and enterprise data integrations, including Salesforce or DealCloud
• systems where auditability, governance, and data controls really matter
