We’re looking for a detail-focused CAD/PLM Administrator to join our engineering team. You’ll play a key role in keeping all our technical product data accurate, organised, and ready for manufacturing across multiple sites including supporting our teams in the UK and China.

About the Role You’ll be responsible for managing engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and product data inside our PLM system (Keytech). This is a hands-on role that ensures smooth collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, validate, and maintain 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, and BOMs in the PLM system
• Check data for accuracy, revision control, naming standards, and manufacturability
• Support Engineering Change processes (ECR/ECO)
• Work closely with design engineers to fix missing or incorrect data
• Provide accurate drawings and BOM extracts to production and supply chain teams
• Help improve data workflows and processes

About You

• Good working knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, etc.)
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems (Keytech, SolidWorks PDM, Windchill, Teamcenter, etc. is a big plus)
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of version control & document management
• Familiar with engineering drawings and basic manufacturing processes
• Great communicator who can work across different teams and cultures
• Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

This role would suit someone with a background as a: CAD Technician, Engineering Technician, Document Controller, or Manufacturing Data Administrator.

Location: Hybrid Huntingdon work from home 2 days a week Contract: 6 months fixed term contract £500 a day
