Contract Data Modeller (Outside IR35) – London (Hybrid: 3+ Days On-Site)

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller to join our team on a contract basis (Outside IR35). This role is London-based, with a mandatory requirement to be on-site a minimum of three days per week, and offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, large-scale tax projects.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data models to support complex business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and tax specialists to ensure data integrity and usability.
• Support large-scale tax projects, helping to translate business requirements into scalable data structures.
• Identify opportunities for data optimisation, improvement, and standardisation.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Data Modeller, ideally in finance, tax, or related industries.
• Strong proficiency with data modelling tools (e.g., Scala, PowerDesigner) and database technologies.
• Familiarity with large-scale tax projects or complex financial data initiatives is highly desirable.
• Exposure to Energy Markets, trading and operations is beneficial
• Ability to work on-site in London at least 3 days per week.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
