Lead Agile / Scrum Master
Nottingham (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Agile / Scrum Master to drive Agile delivery excellence across multiple teams within a complex enterprise environment. This role goes beyond facilitation, you will act as a coach, leader, and change agent, embedding Agile principles, improving delivery outcomes, and supporting teams to operate at high performance and maturity.
You’ll work closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, senior stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment, predictability, and continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.
The Role:
- Lead and embed Agile and Scrum practices across multiple delivery teams, drawing on deep hands‑on Scrum Master expertise.
- Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices to improve flow, quality, and predictability.
- Proactively remove impediments, manage risks, and address dependencies to ensure smooth sprint execution.
- Partner closely with Product Owners to support effective backlog management, prioritisation, and refinement.
- Drive data‑led continuous improvement using metrics such as velocity, burn‑down charts, and delivery insights.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and self‑organisation within and across teams.
- Coordinate delivery across cross‑functional teams, leaders, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and momentum.
- Support Agile delivery at scale, leveraging frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or similar within large enterprise environments.
- Mentor and support junior Scrum Masters, contributing to broader Agile maturity and transformation initiatives.
What you will bring:
- Extensive delivery experience, with strong, demonstrable Scrum Master and Agile leadership expertise.
- Proven experience leading Agile delivery across multiple teams in complex environments.
- Deep understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and scaling frameworks.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership.
- A pragmatic, outcome‑focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
