(3–6 Month Transformation Engagement)
Chester (on-site 2/3 days a week)
£500 a Day Outside IR35

At Proximo, the UK’s leading provider of specialist and adapted replacement vehicles, we are dedicated to keeping people on the move. When vehicles are out of action, we step in to provide replacements, ensuring our customers maintain their independence and mobility.

We are seeking an experienced Contract Business Analyst to support a key transformation engagement. Over a 3–6-month period, you will conduct a structured review of our current operating model and systems landscape, helping to shape future transformation decisions and priorities.

This is a hands-on role combining deep analytical rigour with a pragmatic, outcome-focused approach, identifying quick wins while mapping a clear foundation for long-term change.

Your role

You will work across the organisation to understand how our business currently operates (we have several legacy and bespoke in-house systems), mapping processes and data flows while identifying opportunities for improvement. Partnering closely with stakeholders, you’ll help define future-state capabilities and contribute to a prioritised transformation roadmap.

Key responsibilities

Current-State (As-Is) Discovery

  • Conduct structured stakeholder interviews across all levels of the business
    • Map end-to-end processes across core operational areas
    • Document interactions across systems, data flows, and third-party partners
    • Identify inefficiencies, duplication, manual workarounds, and risks

Capability & Requirements Analysis

  • Translate findings into core and enabling business capabilities
    • Identify root causes behind operational challenges
    • Assess constraints across systems, processes, and governance

Future-State Development
  • Evaluate options including process redesign, system changes, and integrations
  • Provide structured comparisons of solution approaches (build vs buy)
  • Highlight key architectural considerations and constraints

Roadmap & Prioritisation

  • Support prioritisation of initiatives based on impact, risk, and complexity
    • Identify dependencies and logical sequencing of change
    • Contribute to a clear, phased transformation roadmap

Quick Wins & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify low-complexity, high-impact improvements
    • Escalate and, where appropriate, support implementation
    • Help build momentum throughout the engagement

What we’re looking for

  • Strong Business Analysis experience within complex or legacy environments
    • Proven track record in transformation or system modernisation programmes
    • Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous environments quickly
    • Confident engaging and challenging senior stakeholders
    • Skilled in translating complex operations into structured artefacts
    • Consultancy or contract experience preferred

What we offer

As an Investors in People Silver employer, we invest in our people, giving you the tools and support needed to deliver meaningful impact.

Benefits include:

  • 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays and your birthday off)
  • Healthcare plan via Medicash, covering optical, dental, physiotherapy, and more
  • Events throughout the year with a not-to-be-missed end-of-year party
  • Funding for qualifications and apprenticeship schemes
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • Increased employer pension contributions (5% employee, 5% employer)
  • Employee Referral Scheme (£1000 per referral)
  • Monthly Wellbeing Hour
  • Tech Scheme
  • Retail Cashback Scheme
  • Service Reward Scheme
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Casual Dress Code

If you thrive in complex environments and enjoy turning ambiguity into clear, actionable outcomes, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today with your latest CV, and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
