This is a great job for someone who…

Has a passion for transformation and enjoys challenging the status quo. You’ll thrive if you like thinking differently, collaborating closely with business and technology teams, and using innovative technologies to solve complex business problems.

A bit about the job:

We’re transforming Aviva’s General Insurance business, and this role sits at the heart of that change. You’ll operate within a flexible resource pool across our GI portfolio, leading business analysis activities on large-scale transformation initiatives. These include major platform upgrades, SaaS adoption, M&A and technology integration, and technology-led innovation such as GenAI, automation, and data-driven solutions. You’ll be accountable for defining business requirements, analysing processes, and ensuring solutions meet business needs while complying with internal policies, regulations, and standards.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering business analysis for complex technology and business change initiatives, ideally with budgets of £5m+.
  • Experience working within a highly regulated environment, preferably financial services or insurance.
  • Knowledge of insurance enterprise technologies such as Snowflake, Guidewire, Salesforce, Earnix or ICE, and exposure to emerging technologies including GenAI, automation, and digital/data solutions.
  • Confident facilitator with excellent communication skills, experienced in working closely with engineers, product owners, architects, and senior business stakeholders to lead discussions, negotiate, influence decisions, and inspire technical and business change.
  • Deep understanding and practical application of business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to play a key role in a major post‑acquisition integration initiative.
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic decision‑making.
  • Collaborative, supportive environment with strong emphasis on delivery excellence.
  • Hybrid working and competitive benefits.

We’re inclusive and welcome everyone – we want applications from all backgrounds and experiences.

Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don’t, we’d still encourage you to apply.

We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part‑time and job‑share options.

We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, the business and you. Most of our people smart‑work, spending at least 50% of their time in an Aviva office each week.

We’d love you to apply online. If you need a different way to apply, or have questions, please contact me at Katyayani.pathak@aviva.com
