Role Overview
We are looking for Experienced Orchestration Lead specialising in cross‑functional alignment, workflow optimisation, and delivery acceleration across multi‑stream programmes.The Programme Manager – SAP S/4HANA is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes across the organisation. This role oversees programme strategy, planning, design, and implementation while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The Programme Manager will manage budgets, risks, stakeholders, SI partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of SAP S/4HANA modules.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, or migration programmes.
- Define programme governance, scope, timelines, and delivery approach (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid).
- Ensure integration of S/4HANA with existing systems and business processes.
- Drive benefits realisation and ensure the programme delivers measurable value.
2. Stakeholder & Executive Management
- Partner with Business Process Owners, IT leaders, and C‑suite stakeholders to align programme objectives.
- Lead steering committee presentations and provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and issues.
- Manage business change impacts and support the organisation through transition.
3. Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage System Integrators, SAP consultants, and third‑party partners.
- Oversee contract negotiations, deliverables, SLAs, and performance metrics.
- Ensure high-quality functional and technical deliverables.
4. Financial, Risk & Governance Control
- Own programme budgets ranging £10m–£100m+, ensuring financial compliance and optimisation.
- Implement robust governance frameworks, RAID logs, and change control processes.
- Proactively mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and resolve escalations.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams including project managers, analysts, architects, and business SMEs.
- Provide direction, coaching, and support to ensure high performance across workstreams.
- Foster a collaborative and outcome-focused culture.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 18+ years delivering large-scale ERP or transformation programmes.
- Proven experience managing SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or upgrades.
- Strong understanding of S/4HANA modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, etc.).
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £100,000.00-£130,000.00 per year
