Location: Central London

Hybrid: 2 Days On‑Site per Week

Overview

We’re looking for a highly skilled Python Developer to join a growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in modern cloud‑native environments, enjoys building clean and scalable backend systems, and is comfortable working in a hybrid setup in Central London.

You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and cloud‑based components that support a range of internal and customer‑facing applications. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, hands‑on cloud experience, and a passion for building reliable, well‑structured systems.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, build, and maintain Python‑based backend services, APIs, and microservices.

·       Develop RESTful APIs with clean, modular, and well‑tested code.

·       Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to architect scalable backend solutions.

·       Deploy and manage services on Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.

·       Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).

·       Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.

·       Ensure code quality through testing, peer reviews, and adherence to best practices.

·       Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to performance improvements.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

·       Graduation in Information Technology/ Computer Science

·       Minimum 8 years of experience

·       Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.

·       Proven experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

·       Solid understanding of clean code principles, modular design, testing strategies, and version control (Git).

·       Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud services.

·       Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or similar).

·       Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).

 

 

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

·       Experience deploying or integrating LLM‑based or AI‑driven services into production systems.

·       Familiarity with chatbot platforms, conversational AI frameworks, or AI service APIs.

·       Exposure to event‑driven architectures or serverless components.

·       Understanding of observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
