About Us

Dr J & Colleagues is an independent provider of specialist mental health services to both NHS and private patients across the UK. We are a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

We are now looking for an IT Officer to take responsibility for the management and ongoing development of our website, which is hosted on the Wix platform.

Role Overview

This is a flexible, fully remote position ideal for someone with experience managing Wix websites and a good understanding of web content, SEO, and digital communication.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring our website remains up to date, accurate, visually engaging, and compliant with professional and data protection standards.

You will work independently but will meet with the management team every two weeks (via Teams) to review updates, discuss improvements, and plan necessary changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Dr J & Colleagues website (Wix platform).
• Upload and update content, blogs, news articles, and service information.
• Ensure website design and functionality remain consistent with the clinic’s branding and accessibility standards.
• Monitor and improve site performance and SEO visibility.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in user experience, layout, and functionality.
• Ensure all published content meets data protection and confidentiality requirements.
• Liaise with the management team on planned updates and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing or developing websites, ideally using Wix.
• Basic understanding of SEO, analytics, and content optimisation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, professional web content.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with data protection and accessibility principles (desirable).

Contract & Pay

• Role: Self-employed (Contract for Services), not PAYE
• Workload: Varies depending on website needs
• Rate: £20 per hour, paid monthly
• Location: Fully remote, UK
• Meetings: Virtual review every two weeks
