Primark is embarking on a multi‑year transformation to select, implement, and embed a global CAFM (Computer‑Aided Facilities Management) platform, and we’re searching for an accomplished Programme Manager to lead this strategic change from inception to global rollout.

About the Programme

This is a flagship initiative that will redefine how facilities, property, and operational teams manage a vast international estate. You’ll be at the helm of a complex, high‑visibility transformation, orchestrating technology, process, and organisational change across multiple regions.

The Role

As the CAFM Programme Manager, you will take full ownership of programme delivery, from shaping the roadmap and governance to driving execution across selection, design, implementation, and adoption.

You’ll work in a fast‑paced, stakeholder‑rich environment, partnering with senior leaders across Property, FM, Retail Operations, Technology, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a global CAFM transformation programme
  • Own programme governance, planning, RAID management, and executive reporting
  • Drive vendor selection, contract negotiation, and solution evaluation
  • Oversee process redesign and operating model changes aligned to CAFM capabilities
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams across multiple geographies
  • Ensure successful deployment, adoption, and benefits realisation across the estate
  • Act as the senior point of escalation for delivery, risks, and stakeholder alignment
  • Champion change management, training, and communication strategies

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record delivering large‑scale technology and business transformation programmes
  • Demonstrable experience with CAFM platforms (e.g., Planon, Concept Evolution, IBM TRIRIGA, Accruent, etc.)
  • Strong background in facilities management, retail estates, or property operations
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate complex organisational structures and bring clarity to ambiguity
  • Experience managing multi‑vendor environments and global delivery teams
  • Comfortable operating at pace in a high‑profile, strategically critical programme

Why Join?

You’ll be shaping a global operating model for one of the world’s most recognisable retail brands. This is a rare opportunity to lead a transformation that will have lasting impact across thousands of sites and millions of customers.
