Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Web Designer & Developer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Design visually compelling and user-centric websites using digital design principles and interaction design techniques.
• Develop and maintain websites utilising front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, AJAX, Bootstrap, SCSS, Less, and Node.js.
• Implement responsive web design to ensure compatibility across all devices and screen sizes.
• Utilise content management systems including WordPress, Drupal, and SharePoint for website updates and management.
• Create wireframes and prototypes using tools like Balsamiq, Axure, Figma, InVision, and Visio to visualise project concepts effectively.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance website functionality and user experience (UX).
• Optimise websites for search engines (SEO) using best practices and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Maintain website content through CMS platforms and perform regular website maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to produce high-quality visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Adobe XD.
• Write clean, efficient code with version control using Git or similar tools.
• Analyse data to improve website performance and user engagement through data analysis skills and SQL knowledge.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met by adhering to information architecture principles and usability guidelines.

Experience

• Proven experience in web design and front-end development with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies such as PHP, Python, MySQL, SQL databases or Node.js is desirable.
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; experience with Adobe After Effects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles along with wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma or InVision.
• Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal is essential.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design frameworks like Bootstrap or Telerik for mobile optimisation.
• Ability to conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions effectively.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics for data-driven optimisation strategies.
