Full Stack (React & .NET) Developer - 9 months Contract

Location: London/Hybrid

About the Role:

Our capital markets practice is seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with strong experience in React and .NET technologies and a passion for building scalable, cloud-native applications to work with a leading investment bank.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both Front End and Back End components of our clients enterprise-grade solutions, with a strong emphasis on Azure cloud services.

Split is 80% Front End - 20% Back End - Mainly UI Focused.

2-3 Days a week on site in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refactor and enhance the data ingestion engine to improve flexibility, configurability, and auditability
  • Build and maintain independent data pipelines for multiple HR systems (Workday, FieldGlass, VNDLY)
  • Develop and extend Front End UI (React/Node.js) to improve operational visibility
  • Support and enhance field mapping configurations for onboarding new data sources
  • Contribute to validation logic and outbound data transformation to downstream systems.
  • Explore and implement automated testing approaches (currently manual)
  • Collaborate closely with the Technical Architect and wider team in an agile.

Technical Environment

  • Back End: C#, .NET, Azure Functions
  • Front End: React, Node.js (with C# APIs)
  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure
  • AI Tooling: GitHub Copilot, Claude (AI-assisted development is actively used)

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong full-stack development experience with a Front End focus (React/Node.js)
  • Solid Back End experience with C#/.NET
  • Experience working with data integration, ETL processes, or data pipelines
  • Understanding of data transformation, validation, and system integration patterns
  • Ability to work across both Front End and Back End as required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
