Non-Functional Salesforce Test Engineer (Data & Cloud) - Contract

Location: Remote / Client Site (London, Farringdon 2-3x per week)

Contract Length: Initial 6 Months

Ten10 is one of the UK's leading tech consultancies, and we are currently looking for a high-calibre Salesforce Test Engineer / Non-Functional Tester to join us on a contract basis for a mission-critical project with one of our key logistics clients.

The Role

As a Test Engineer / Non-Functional Tester, you won't just be managing a process; you’ll be driving the Quality Engineering strategy. This is an opportunity to innovate within a client-facing role, ensuring our solutions align perfectly with business needs. You will:

• Design, build, and implement cutting-edge automation frameworks for Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and GCP environments.

• Influence QA strategies and testing best practices, specifically for Big Data products and complex data pipelines.

• Lead high-impact Reconciliation Testing efforts to ensure data consistency across disparate systems.

• Collaborate within Agile environments (SCRUM/Kanban) to deliver software faster and with confidence.

Technical Requirements

We are looking for a technical expert who thrives at the intersection of development and data quality.

Essential Skills:

• Programming: Technical development background with advanced coding skills in Python.

• Data Mastery: Significant experience with data querying and the GreatExpectations Python library.

• Salesforce Ecosystem: Deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud and a broad understanding of other Salesforce products.

• Cloud & Big Data: Hands-on experience testing within GCP and other Big Data products.

• Automation Toolkit: Proficiency in API automation, Gherkin, Robot Framework, Selenium, and Pandas.

• DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

Preferred Experience:

• Reconciliation Testing: Strong preference for candidates with proven experience in complex data reconciliation.

• Consultancy: Previous experience in a consultancy environment is a major plus.

• Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical data risks into business language.

• Previous experience withing the Logistics sector
