Contract Duration: 6 months

Location: London / Sheffield (Hybrid - 3 days on site)

Daily Rate: Inside IR35

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Delivery Lead to oversee a portfolio of AI-enabled cybersecurity initiatives. This role involves leading projects from strategic planning through to delivery and value realisation, ensuring alignment across Cybersecurity, Technology, Data/AI, and Risk stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive the delivery of secure, compliant AI capabilities that enhance threat detection, response, and organisational resilience, all while maintaining clear governance and accelerating time to value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of AI-driven cybersecurity projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Technology, Data/AI, and Risk teams to align priorities and integrate AI capabilities securely and compliantly.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks to oversee AI initiatives, ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
  • Drive value realisation by measuring and communicating the impact of AI-enabled cybersecurity solutions.
  • Manage risks and issues proactively, facilitating resolution and escalation as needed.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to provide regular updates, manage expectations, and secure buy-in.
  • Promote best practices in AI delivery, cybersecurity, and risk management within the portfolio.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in delivery leadership roles, preferably within AI, cybersecurity, or technology domains.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in cybersecurity.
  • Experience managing complex portfolios involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all organisational levels.
  • Ability to drive governance and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile methodologies).

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite in London or Sheffield.
