About The Role
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing complex digital engineering solutions, with hands-on experience in leading PLM and MES platforms (Siemens, PTC, or Dassault Systèmes). This role requires a blend of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and strong communication skills to deliver integrated solutions for clients in the Industrial Products, Aerospace, Defence, or Automotive sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end PLM and MES solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and technical requirements.
- Tool Expertise: Implement and configure at least one of the following PLM tools: Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or Dassault ENOVIA. Implement and configure at least one of the following MES tools: Siemens Opcenter, PTC ThingWorx, or Dassault DELMIA.
- Integrated Delivery: Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated solution designs and oversee successful implementation.
- Requirements Development: Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, translating them into robust solution architectures.
- Industry Focus: Apply industry best practices and standards, leveraging experience in Industrial Products, Aerospace, Defence, or Automotive environments.
- Client Engagement: Present solution concepts, architectures, and value propositions to client stakeholders, adapting messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to inform solution design, integration, and optimisation, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business processes.
- Quality Assurance: Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of PLM and MES solutions to ensure high-quality delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- Solution Architecture: Demonstrable experience architecting complex digital engineering solutions, preferably in consulting or system integration environments.
- PLM Tools: Hands-on experience with at least one major PLM platform (Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or Dassault ENOVIA).
- MES Tools: Hands-on experience with at least one major MES platform (Siemens Opcenter, PTC ThingWorx, or Dassault DELMIA).
- Industry Experience: Proven track record working with clients in Industrial Products, Aerospace, Defence, or Automotive industries.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Data & Requirements: Advanced data analysis skills and experience in developing and managing solution requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical (BSc) Degree level qualification or higher (Manufacturing, Engineering or Computer Science)
- Experience with cloud-based PLM/MES deployments.
- Familiarity with integration of PLM/MES with ERP and other enterprise systems.
- Relevant certifications from Siemens, PTC, or Dassault Systèmes.
- Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
