PICCASO – Digital Designer / Web Designer – Opportunity to Shape a Global Community Platform

We’re looking for a digital design expert to help evolve the website and digital presence of PICCASO.
PICCASO (Privacy, InfoSec, Culture, Compliance, Awareness, Strategy & Operations) is a fast-growing global not-for-profit community connecting leaders across privacy, AI governance, cyber security and compliance.
Through international awards, executive roundtables, research labs and global chapters, we bring together regulators, industry leaders and the next generation of professionals to advance responsible governance in the digital age.
We’re now looking for a creative digital designer who can help us:
• Refine and evolve the PICCASO website
• Improve the user experience for our global community
• Support event, research and community engagement pages
• Create a modern, credible and community-driven digital presence

Role Purpose
To own and elevate PICCASO’s digital design and visual communication output across all channels, while actively supporting community growth and engagement.
This is not just a designer role.
This is a brand guardian, creative executor and community amplifier role.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Visual Design Ownership
- Lead all design across:
- Awards materials
- Lab proposals
- Sponsorship decks
- Event invitations
- Social graphics
- Reports and whitepapers
- Ensure brand consistency across all outputs
- Improve visual storytelling of strategy and initiatives
- Develop template libraries for scalability
Community Platform Management (Circle) - working with our Editor
- Manage and optimise PICCASO’s Circle community platform
- Improve engagement journeys and onboarding flows
- Design digital assets and visual campaigns to drive participation
- Monitor activity levels and propose engagement improvements
Event & Campaign Design - working with our Marketing Executive & Bus Ops Manager
- Design event branding packages (digital banners, speaker graphics, countdown posts)
- Support Awards campaign visuals
- Create compelling visual campaigns aligned to growth targets
Content Design & Editorial Support - working with our Marketing Executive & Bus Ops Manager
- Format and design monthly article releases
- Support whitepaper and Lab publication design (InDesign essential)
- Work closely with Content & Community Editor to maintain cadence
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute creative ideas to:
- Growth initiatives
- Chapter launches (Ireland, Canada, US, etc.)
- NextGen campaigns
- Bring proactive suggestions — not just execution
Essential Skills & Experience
- Expert in Adobe InDesign
- Highly proficient in:
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Canva (for scalable team use)
- Experience managing or working within Circle (or similar community platforms)
- Strong understanding of digital engagement and community growth
- Experience working with executive-level content
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
Desirable
- Experience in professional services, governance, privacy, AI or tech sectors
- Experience building visual frameworks for strategy decks
- Understanding of sponsorship and membership organisations
