OneCare Healthcare Mall is a social enterprise creating the UK's first network of integrated community health hubs. Our vision is simple: a one-stop shop where patients can access blood tests, scans, physiotherapy, pharmacy, and same-day results interpretation—all in one visit.

Job Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Lead Full Stack Developer to design, build, and launch the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of OneCareOS. You will be our first technical hire, working directly with the Founder to translate a bold vision into a working platform that will power our first 3,000 sq ft health hub.

Desirable

Experience working within healthcare or NHS systems

  • Familiarity with FHIR / HL7 or healthcare data standards
  • Experience integrating third-party systems or public sector APIs
  • Startup or MVP build experience
  • A recognised qualification in Computer Science or related field.

Key Duties

  • Lead the architecture and end-to-end development of the OneCareOS MVP
  • Define and implement the technical stack, infrastructure, and system design
  • Build core full-stack functionality across patient, provider, and admin portals
  • Develop secure authentication, user roles, and data access controls
  • Create booking, results, and reporting features
  • Design and maintain APIs for platform integrations (including NHS systems)
  • Ensure security, GDPR compliance, and data protection standards
  • Support testing, launch, and early product iterations
  • Document architecture and codebase for future scaling

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in full stack development.
  • Proven experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
  • Strong API design and development. experience (REST and/or GraphQL)
  • Solid database design and management skills (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, including GDPR and data encryption.
