About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager (PM) – Technical System Setup to lead and coordinate a series of system enablement activities on the manufacturing floor. This role requires a true task master—someone who can keep cross-functional teams aligned, drive progress across multiple technical workstreams, and ensure all new equipment and systems are production-ready, secure, and fully integrated.

You will oversee the setup of new manufacturing equipment, PLC and computer configurations, automation elements, and end‑to‑end analytics/data readiness. This is a hands-on delivery role suited for a structured PM who excels at stakeholder alignment, critical path planning, and managing vendor/integrator timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead project planning, execution, and tracking for the local FSD team.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment across engineering, IT, vendors, integrators, and plant leadership.
  • Define scope including data needs, equipment requirements, installation timing, and integration flows.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to leadership and technical stakeholders.

Technical Coordination

  • Oversee technical system and equipment setup on the production floor.
  • Coordinate PLC configurations, computer setups, security validation, and connectivity readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with plant cybersecurity and network requirements.
  • Support systems integration across MES, ERP, and other automation platforms.
  • Confirm end-to-end network readiness for new machines and connected systems.

Execution & Go‑Live

  • Manage vendor timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Capture interdependencies across tasks and build the critical path for the team.
  • Oversee testing activities, cutover planning, and multi-phase go‑live support.
  • Ensure machines are secure, connected, supported, and production ready.

What you will bring:

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and technical setups.
  • Ability to translate IT constraints into practical actions for engineering and operations.
  • Experience managing vendors and systems integrators.
  • Excellent task management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to map dependencies and construct a clear critical path.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence decision makers.
  • Experience with MES, ERP, automation systems, or industrial IT setups (preferred).

Nice to have:

  • Technical support & coordination
  • Integrator & vendor management
  • Technical system setup & readiness
  • Task and project management
  • Manufacturing IT/OT understanding
  • Clear and proactive communication
