As an IAM Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions, ensuring robust security and seamless user experiences. You'll work closely with stakeholders across IT, security, and business units to automate and optimise IAM processes, leveraging modern technologies and best practices.  

 

As the IAM Engineer, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Develop, deploy, and manage IAM policies, roles, and users across cloud and on-premises environments, following least privilege principles.  
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for scalable and repeatable IAM deployments. 
  • Design and automate identity and access management workflows and data integrations using technologies such as Dell Boomi, Azure LogicApps,  ServiceNow, and various scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Leverage automation tools and platforms to streamline IAM processes, improve efficiency, and enhance service management. 
  • Document IAM data architecture, processes, and automation opportunities. 

 

We'd love you to have:

  • Proven experience in IAM engineering, ideally within enterprise or managed service environments. 
  • Hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies. 
  • Experience with an IPaaS integration platform
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.). 
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for ITSM and automation (desirable). 
  • Understanding of cloud IAM (AWS, Azure, etc.), identity providers (SAML, OpenID Connect), and federated access. 
  • Knowledge of privileged identity management workflows and automation.
