Programme Lead - Inside IR35

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Programme Cutover Lead to support a large-scale, global IT transformation programme. This role is critical to the successful onboarding and integration of multiple entities into a unified global IT operating model, ensuring secure, compliant and efficient delivery of technology services.

You will take ownership of the end-to-end cutover framework, working closely with senior stakeholders, programme leadership and technical teams to ensure smooth go-lives across complex, multi-workstream environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the cutover framework and processes across multiple entity onboardings
  • Conduct T-minus readiness checkpoints with Programme and Project Managers, identifying risks and areas of focus to protect go-live dates
  • Apply a cutover-focused reporting lens, tracking launch risk readiness and decision points in the lead-up to cutover
  • Monitor and report progress against cutover plans, including launch risk and readiness metrics
  • Maintain and continuously improve standardised launch readiness checklists and dashboards
  • Develop detailed cutover plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies and resource requirements
  • Manage the overall programme cutover schedule, balancing multiple entity cutovers with system and resource capacity constraints
  • Engage and communicate cutover plans with local CIOs and senior leadership, preparing and facilitating Go/No-Go decision forums
  • Ensure robust post-cutover support and hypercare plans are in place across all workstreams
  • Coordinate with global support teams to ensure appropriate on-site and remote support during post-go-live phases

Required Experience & SkillsTechnical (Must Have)

  • Proven experience leading Infrastructure & Operations programmes, with strong oversight across:
    • Networks
    • Workplace technologies
    • Data Centres
  • Previous experience delivering integration or M&A programmes, with a strong understanding of organisational change and cultural impacts
  • Track record of managing global, company-wide IT rollouts impacting large end-user populations
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall and hybrid approaches)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in complex integration environments
