Job Title: Change Analyst
Location: Burton-on-Trent - You must be fully flexible to attend onsite as required, outside of training periods, the role follows a 2‑day hybrid pattern.
Salary: £400 - £500 per day

About the Role:
As a Change Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of a Booking Platform initiative across the organisation. You will work closely with key stakeholders and the Programme team, with a focus on identifying training needs, analysing changes and bridging knowledge and documentation gaps as you find them. This role will involve the design and delivery of training materials, ensuring that all impacted employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to embrace new systems, processes, and ways of working. This is a hands on role, and will require an individual who is comfortable working with ambiguity, and designing processes, templates and ways of working where they may not currently exist.
Due to the nature of this role, the Change Analyst will be required to work on-site five days per week during periods of training delivery and related support activities. Outside of these periods, there is an expectation of a minimum onsite presence of two days per week. Key Responsibilities:
Change Impact Analysis:
- Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes, identifying stakeholders, and understanding the potential effect on different departments and teams working closely with Business Analysts on understanding the gap between as is and to be processes and associated changes in role definitions.
Training Design and Delivery:
- Develop and deliver training programmes (both in-person and virtual) for employees across the organisation. Ensure that the training is tailored to the needs of different user groups and is aligned with overall change management strategy.
Learning Materials:
- Create training manuals, user guides, and e-learning content to support learning objectives. Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure that training content is accurate and engaging.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work collaboratively with programme teams, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and that training solutions meet business requirements. Provide training to ensure the change is effectively communicated and understood.
Support Change Implementation:
- Provide ongoing support during the change and through transitional periods, assisting in the troubleshooting of any issues related to the change initiative and offering additional training where necessary.
Feedback and Improvement:
- Collect feedback from training sessions and other change activities to measure effectiveness. Use this feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery methods and develop a Continuous improvement loop to feed into the Programme team.
Change Communications:
- Assist in communication to ensure that employees are well-informed about the changes and understand the rationale and benefits behind them.
Key Skills & Experience:
Experience:
- Proven experience in a change analyst role with a working knowledge of process and transformational change
- Experience of working on large-scale change projects, including digital transformations.
Training Delivery:
- Strong background in developing and delivering training programmes for diverse audiences, including e-learning solutions.
- Experience in using digital tools to track training effectiveness.
Communication Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Analytical Thinking:
- Strong analytical skills to assess the impact of change and identify training requirements based on data and feedback.
Change Management:
- Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci).
- Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to manage resistance to change.
- Experience in working and managing change effectively with counterparts across different locations and time zones.
Project Management:
- Ability to create and work to training and change management plans using Project Management tools where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Change management certifications (e.g., Prosci, APMG) and/or Training-related qualifications (e.g., Train the Trainer, CIPD) are desirable.
