Role Overview
 

We are seeking a contract UX Research Operations Specialist to support the rapid standardisation and operational setup of our research practice. This role will focus on establishing foundational processes, templates, governance structures, and tracking systems that enable research to run consistently, efficiently, and at scale across teams.
 
This role is focused on operational consistency and service design — not conducting research studies. The successful candidate will design clear frameworks, documentation, and standards that ensure research is delivered predictably, efficiently, and consistently across teams and clients.
 
Key Responsibilities
 

  • Design and document standard workflows for planning and delivering research work
  • Define clear project structures, timelines, and checkpoints for common study types
  • Create practical templates, frameworks, and guidance materials
  • Establish consistent documentation and organisational standards
  • Support definition of scope, expectations, and delivery boundaries
  • Develop guidance for consistent use of research tools and platforms
  • Translate ambiguous or evolving needs into clear, usable processes
 

Required Experience
 
  • Experience designing or improving research or delivery operations
  • Strong understanding of UX research methods and workflows
  • Experience creating structured processes or frameworks
  • Ability to translate ambiguous needs into clear, usable guidance
  • Strong documentation and organisational skills
