Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join our rapidly growing team delivering Agile projects using the latest Microsoft technologies.

Our work is primarily with UK Public Sector organisations, building secure, scalable solutions that drive value, improve services, and enhance user engagement. The role has a strong focus on ASP.NET, Azure, and the wider Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform.

As a Senior Developer, you will act as Technical Lead on some projects, while contributing as a hands-on team member on others. You will also play a key role in shaping and promoting development standards and best practices across the team.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a genuine interest in improving Public Sector services. You’ll be comfortable working in Agile delivery teams, engaging with stakeholders, and translating complex technical concepts into clear, practical solutions.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver full-stack solutions using Microsoft technologies
  • Take technical ownership of projects where required, acting as Technical Lead
  • Build and maintain ASP.NET Core applications and APIs
  • Develop cloud-native solutions using Azure services
  • Contribute to microservices-based architectures
  • Implement automated unit testing and ensure code quality
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams, architects, and stakeholders
  • Advocate for and help evolve internal development standards and best practices
  • Support Agile delivery (Scrum) within a services-led environment

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • Strong Microsoft .NET development experience using C#
  • Solid experience with Azure components and services
  • UI development using ASP.NET Core MVC / Razor Pages
  • API development and integration
  • Automated unit testing using xUnit and Moq
  • Experience building microservices-based solutions
  • Agile delivery experience (ideally Scrum)

 

Desirable

  • Experience with Power Platform development
  • Power BI
  • SharePoint integration
  • Redis Cache and caching strategies
  • Docker and containerisation
  • Knowledge of GDS Service Standard
  • Experience developing solutions that meet Accessibility Standards
