Location: London (with regular collaboration with Luxembourg team including possible occasional travel )

Employment Type: Fixed term employment/ Contract inside IR35 for until Dec 2026 with possible extensions
Experience: 12+ Years of Experience

Availability: Immediate joiners only (15 days or less notice)

Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr.Business Analyst to support a critical fund data migration initiative within a financial services environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing, validating, and documenting the migration of mutual fund data from a legacy data master to a strategic target platform.

The role can be effectively performed from London with close support and collaboration from the local Luxembourg team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, map, and validate the migration of fund data attributes from legacy systems to a strategic data platform.
  • Ensure mutual fund data is accurate, complete, and aligned with business requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct data discovery and data quality assessments to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks.
  • Document data definitions, business rules, and end‑to‑end processes throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide ongoing stakeholder support and ensure transparency throughout all phases of the migration.
  • Support Agile delivery practices, contributing to ceremonies, backlog refinement, and sprint activities as required.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within Financial Services, ideally in an Investment Management environment.
  • Strong hands‑on experience in data discovery, data quality assessment, and business process modelling.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data management principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business audiences effectively.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including BPMN, user stories, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Confluence.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, particularly when working with complex data sets.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience supporting large‑scale data migration or transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of mutual funds or fund data domains.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across geographies.
