Job Description: Product Designer (Contract)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to support a major visual brand refresh across multiple digital experiences. The role requires a strong UI-first designer who can translate updated brand principles into scalable, high-quality product interfaces while working closely with engineering and product teams.
This role is ideal for a designer who is comfortable operating in modern web architectures, including headed and headless environments, and who can move quickly while maintaining design quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the rollout of an updated visual brand system across digital products and platforms
- Design polished, production-ready UI components, screens, and interaction patterns
- Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across web and digital experiences
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Front-end teams
- Work effectively within design systems, contributing updates or refinements where required
- Design for both headed and headless CMS-based architectures, ensuring flexibility and scalability
- Participate in design reviews and provide clear rationale for design decisions
- Deliver designs that balance brand expression, usability, and technical feasibility
- Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or UI Designer on digital products
- Strong UI design expertise with a high bar for visual quality and detail
- Solid understanding of design systems, component-based design, and scalable UI patterns
- Experience working in headed and headless setups (e.g., CMS-driven or decoupled front-end architectures)
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting brand refresh or rebranding initiatives
- Exposure to enterprise-scale or consumer-facing digital platforms
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices

- This is a hands-on delivery role, not a strategic-only design position
- Portfolio must demonstrate strong UI craft and visual design maturity
