The Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to elevate our user experience capabilities, drive key design initiatives, mentor our team, and ensure our upcoming rebrand lands successfully across all customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic UX Leadership

Lead high-level UX initiatives and create design strategies for complex user journeys

Design solutions for onboarding, subscription management, CRO and retention challenges

Establish UX standards, processes, and best practices

Translate business requirements into conversion-focused design solutions

Rebrand Integration

Lead UX design for rebrand implementation across all digital touchpoints

Design new brand-aligned interfaces and interaction patterns

Create design frameworks supporting successful rebrand rollout

Collaborate with marketing team on brand strategy translation

Design System Development

Develop scalable design system foundations and component strategies

Create advanced component designs supporting the rebrand

Establish governance, documentation, and usage guidelines

Team Development

Mentor team members on advanced UX practices and design thinking

Establish workflows, quality standards, and review processes

Foster user-centred design culture across teams

Requirements

Experience & Expertise

8+ years UX design experience, 2+ years in senior roles

Proven track record leading UX projects with measurable business impact

Strong portfolio showcasing strategic UX work and conversion-focused design

Expert knowledge of user research, usability testing, and design validation

Technical Skills

Expert proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Miro, Principle)

Strong prototyping, interaction design, and design system experience

Understanding of web technologies and responsive design

Knowledge of A/B testing and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hotjar)

Leadership & Communication

Mentorship experience with design professionals

Excellent presentation skills and stakeholder influence

Strategic thinking connecting design to business objectives

Collaborative approach in cross-functional, agile environments

Preferred Experience

E-commerce and subscription-based business experience

Brand implementation and consistency maintenance

Customer lifecycle management and retention strategies

Accessibility standards and inclusive design principles

Working Arrangement

2 days per week (16 hours) with flexible scheduling

6-month contract with potential extension

Remote-first with potential travel to Telford

Core collaboration during UK business hours
