Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and motivated tutors located in UK to teach online coding to students of various ages and backgrounds. This paid position offers a dynamic opportunity to share your computer science expertise, foster a love for technology, and help learners develop essential coding skills. Whether working with children, teenagers, or adult learners, you will create engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence in programming. Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging coding lessons tailored to students’ age groups and skill levels, ensuring clarity and comprehension.
  • Develop curriculum materials that align with educational standards and incorporate current learning technology tools.
  • Plan and execute lesson plans that promote active participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Manage classroom environments effectively, maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, projects, and feedback sessions; adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Foster strong communication with students to motivate and support their coding journey while addressing individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other educators or program coordinators to enhance curriculum quality and incorporate best practices in education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; teaching certification is a plus.
  • Proven coding ability in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience developing curricula or lesson plans that incorporate modern learning technology platforms.
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience across diverse age groups, including children, teens, or adults.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging and disciplined learning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to learners of varying backgrounds.

Pay: £18.11-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
