Key Responsibilities & Skills

Power BI Backend (Advanced)

• Advanced data manipulation and transformation using Power Query (building tables, merging queries, shaping data).
• Proficient use of M code in the Advanced Editor.
• Design and management of complex data models and relationships, including reports sourcing from 20+ spreadsheets.
• Development of advanced DAX calculations and queries, including variables and nested logic.

Power BI Front-End

• Creation of dynamic report interactions (e.g. toggles between Budget and Forecast views).
• Presentation of disparate data sources in a clear, seamless user experience.
• Use of advanced Power BI features such as bookmarks, layers, and conditional formatting to enhance usability and insight.

Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of finance and accountancy concepts, with the ability to translate financial requirements into effective reporting solutions.
