Computer Science Online Tutor at Redoor Education, Remote, to £45 per hour

We are looking for an experienced GCSE Computer Science Tutor to deliver high-quality 1-to-1 online lessons to UK secondary school students.

Students are typically Year 9–11 and follow UK exam boards. Lessons are conducted online on a weekly basis, with some flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured 1-to-1 online GCSE Computer Science lessons
• Support students with syllabus content, exam techniques, and programming skills
• Tailor lessons to individual learning needs and ability levels
• Provide brief feedback after lessons when required
• Prepare students for mocks and final GCSE examinations

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of GCSE Computer Science curriculum
• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students (school or private tuition)
• Confident with at least one programming language (e.g. Python)
• Reliable, organised, and able to teach independently online
• UK teaching experience preferred (QTS not essential)

Working Hours:

• Mainly evenings and/or weekends
• Regular weekly availability preferred
