Contract Type

Freelance / Contract (1–2 weeks)

Location

Overview

We are building a secure, low-complexity B2B sourcing website .
This is not a marketplace, not SaaS, and not an AI-generated or experimental build.

The objective is a launch-ready, stable, and secure platform that allows suppliers to submit products (including images) through controlled forms, with manual admin review and publishing .

We are looking for one experienced, pragmatic developer who can deliver this cleanly, securely, and without over-engineering.

What You Will Build

  • A professional B2B website using WordPress or Webflow
  • A secure supplier product submission form , including image upload
  • A secure buyer enquiry form
  • A manual admin review → publish workflow
  • Compliance, disclaimer, privacy, and terms pages
  • A system that is finished, stable, and maintainable

Mandatory Technical Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Applicants must have proven experience with:

  • WordPress or Webflow (minimum 3 years)
  • Secure form handling (e.g. Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, WPForms, or Webflow Forms)
  • Secure image/file uploads including:
  • file type restrictions
  • size limits
  • sanitisation
  • admin approval before publishing
  • HTTPS, backups, and basic site hardening
  • GDPR-aware data handling
  • Stripe invoicing only (no checkout, no escrow, no marketplace payments)

Explicitly Not Required (and Not Wanted)

  • Lovable or any other AI builders
  • React, Next.js, or custom frameworks
  • Multi-vendor marketplaces
  • Supplier or buyer dashboards
  • Custom authentication systems
  • WooCommerce vendor plugins
  • “We’ll iterate later” or open-ended architectures

If your approach relies on complexity or future re-engineering, this role is not suitable.

Security Rules (Must Agree to All)

  • No user dashboards
  • No supplier or buyer logins
  • No direct access to the WordPress media library
  • No executable uploads
  • No ZIP, SVG, or script-capable files

Disagreement with any of these rules disqualifies the application.
