Cyber Security Consultant at RiverSafe, Remote, £Contract Rate

We are looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant with strong expertise across Microsoft Security, Cloud Security, Data Protection, and emerging AI/LLM security and governance to help define guardrails and reduce risk across the business.

Role

• Provide security guidance across products, platforms and data systems
• Perform risk assessments & threat modelling (STRIDE)
• Validate security controls and support remediation
• Support secure adoption of AI/LLM tools and emerging AI tech
• Contribute to standards, guardrails and documentation
• Work closely with data governance and cloud/platform teams

Skills

• Strong experience in Microsoft & Azure security
• Knowledge of CIS, MITRE ATT&CK and AI/LLM security frameworks
• Hands-on cloud security & DevSecOps experience
• Data security/DLP/governance (Purview)
• Ability to translate risk into clear, practical guidance
• Experience with data platforms, API/Kubernetes security, and GDPR/compliance is nice to have

* This role is predominantly remote, although ad hoc travel to London may be required. Candidates need to be based in the UK for compliance purposes.*
