About the Role

We are looking for a SEO specialists to optimize a e-commerce site for both traditional search engines (Google) and emerging AI-driven search platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.

The primary goal of this role is to improve discoverability for question-driven searches and increase organic conversions by creating and refining high-quality, AI-friendly content across product pages, collections, and landing pages.

Projects typically involve a mix of hands-on content creation, on-page SEO optimization, and strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate understands how modern SEO is evolving, knows how to structure content for AI-generated answers, and can translate product information into clear, helpful, and conversion-oriented content.

Location: Remote

Compensation: Paid per project

Requirements

• Strong written communication skills in English
• Strong experience with SEO for e-commerce websites, preferably Shopify
• Ability to create or refine SEO-optimized content for product pages, collections, and landing pages
• Experience writing AI-friendly, question-based content such as FAQs, guides, and how-to sections
• Understanding of how content surfaces in AI-driven search and ChatGPT-style answers
• Ability to optimize or guide creation of images (alt text, filenames, captions, structured layouts)
• Comfort developing short-form video scripts or content briefs for product explainers or features
• Attention to detail and ability to execute against a defined scope of work
• Ability to recommend ongoing SEO strategies and keyword targets based on performance and opportunity

Nice to Have

• Experience working with SaaS, AI, or tech-enabled e-commerce brands
• Familiarity with SEO for emerging AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini)
• Understanding of structured content, schema, and SEO best practices for AI consumption
• Experience collaborating with designers, video editors, or developers
• Background in content strategy, growth, or conversion optimization
• Comfort using AI tools to support research, ideation, or content production
