The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.

 

 

 

Your New Role

 

In this role. you will be supporting the Axial ESG workstream at a critical time from the end of UAT through to the first deployment of SAP SFM and SCT in Mexico. Initially you will be working closely with the ESG Enterprise Process Lead (EPL) to gain the necessary background and handover and will then take over as team lead.

 

 

  • Responsible for enabling close alignment between Axial and BAU sustainability efforts, which includes contributing to the Sustainability digital strategy to drive the company’s broader sustainability goals.
  • Fostering strong connections between Axial and key stakeholders in Mexico. This includes working closely with the Mexico deployment team and Mexico testers, ensuring communication and alignment throughout project phases.
  • Working with the build team (Accenture) to ensure that findings and defects from User Acceptance Testing (UAT) are addressed before the close of UAT. This proactive approach supports a smooth transition between testing and deployment activities.
  • Working alongside cross-functional teams to ensure adequate preparation ahead of the Mexico go-live
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities at go-live, making sure that the local Mexico team, global sustainability team, and Axial team all understand their duties and expectations.
  • Support UK readiness preparation by ensuring alignment between build, technology, architecture, and BAU functions during the detailed design and build phases for UK-related changes.

 

 

Essential Skills

 

  • Significant experience and expertise in ESG strategy or compliance and reporting
  • Experience in large scale technology transformation projects
  • Demonstrable domain knowledge of ESG requirements and the changing landscape, including the ability to explain sophisticated concepts to non-technical colleagues
  • Experience of designing and implementing process change to enable business decision making in ESG disciplines
  • Demonstrable SAP working knowledge across transactions and reporting in an SAP environment, including an understanding of how data and process integrate within an SAP architecture
  • Experience of Business/IT partnering for the implementation of global transformation solutions
  • Demonstrable ability to lead in a diverse, global team, within and across functions. Experience with global working and across cultures
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
  • Ability to lead and manage negotiations across a complex group, to a target outcome
  • Consistent track record of delivery and ability to effectively prioritise to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills
