Software Engineer (SDET) at Coforge, Leeds/Remote, £Contract Rate

We at Coforge are seeking a highly skilled SDET with strong expertise in UI and API automation to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in C#, SpecFlow, and ReadyAPI, ensuring robust test automation and high-quality software delivery.

Job Type: Fixed Term Contractor

Work Mode: 2 Days onsite at Leeds location

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing.
• Implement and execute automated test scripts using C# and SpecFlow.
• Perform API testing and automation using ReadyAPI.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team for resolution.
• Continuously improve automation processes and frameworks for scalability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong programming skills in C#.
• Hands-on experience with SpecFlow for BDD-based automation.
• Proficiency in UI automation (e.g., Selenium or similar tools).
• Expertise in API automation using ReadyAPI.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
