We are seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to join our architecture team, reporting to the Group Head of Architecture. This role serves as a critical bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, supporting enterprise architecture initiatives and contributing to strategic technology decisions.

Support the architecture team by bridging business needs and technical solutions. Contribute to enterprise architecture initiatives and strategic technology decisions, reporting to the Group Head of Architecture.

 

As a Technical Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Engage across the group
  • Ensure standards compliance
  • Drive innovation
  • Shape technical approaches for data initiatives
  • Promote technology efficiency
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and vendors
  • Guide development teams on requirements and architecture
  • Participate in design reviews and compliance checks
  • Assist with testing and monitor project progress
  • Gather and translate business/technical requirements

 

Essential: 

  • Strong understanding of system analysis and requirements gathering
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integration concepts, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Experience with methodologies such as Agile/Scrum methodologies and BPMN for process modelling - not prescriptive
  • Knowledge of project management and requirements tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  • Business & Communication Skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities
  • Effective communicator for both technical and business audiences
  • Experience working in complex, evolving environments across a changing group
  • Exposure to architecture concepts
  • Awareness of compliance standards and data governance

 

Desirable:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
