Mobile App Developer at FinnPowa, Remote, 3 Months, £Contract Rate

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications across various platforms, including Android, iOS and/or Flutter. This role requires a strong understanding of application development principles and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, ensuring high-quality user experiences.

Duties

• Design and develop mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms using languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, and Objective-C.
• Create UX/UI page which are intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user experience.
• Implement RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between applications and back-end services e.g. for authentication, transactions, payment transfer, etc
• Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security standards are met.
• Maintain code quality through version control systems such as Git and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application development processes.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, C#, Java, Kotlin, Swift, and Objective-C.
• Experience with mobile application development for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Xamarin, React, and React Native is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration into mobile applications.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
