IT Engineers – Flexible Ad-Hoc & Ongoing Projects at Prodigy IT Solutions, Remote, to £250 per day

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Contract IT Engineers to join our network and support a variety of client projects on an ad-hoc and ongoing basis. This is ideal for professionals who enjoy flexibility, diverse work, and delivering high-quality solutions.

Typical Projects Include:

• Volume deployment of PCs and laptops
• Cyber Essentials implementation and roll-out
• Microsoft 365 migrations
• Server migrations and upgrades
• Windows 10 to 11 upgrades
• General IT project work for SMEs

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver IT project work to business clients
• Lead onsite implementations and migrations
• Configure and maintain Windows Server environments (2016–2022)
• Support and implement Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
• Troubleshoot networking issues (LAN, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls)
• Support hardware, software, and VoIP systems

Technical Experience

• Proven experience supporting small/medium businesses
• Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022)
• Hyper-V and virtualised platforms
• Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, conditional access)
• Networking: LAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi
• Windows 11 deployments
• Good knowledge of computer hardware
• General software support (Anti-virus, backup tools)
• VoIP systems
