Software Quality Assurance Tester at Add Agility, London Area, £400 per day

You will be a hands-on contributor within a 5–9 person cross-functional delivery squad, ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our software solutions. Working closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Developers, and fellow QA Engineers, you’ll help deliver features that matter. As the team kicks off new projects, we aim to release every month.

• £400 per day Outside IR35
• 3 days a week on site near Watford
• Multiple roles available.

1. Designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases using best practices.
2. Performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
3. Collaborating in agile ceremonies – stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
4. Working closely with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
5. Supporting and improving automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
6. Ensuring robust coverage for both manual and automated tests.
7. Contributing to documentation, including test strategies, user guides, and release notes.
8. Actively seeking feedback and using it to improve personal and team performance.
9. Maintaining a strong focus on quality, security, and scalability in all testing activities.

You’ll be working with a modern, well-maintained stack. Experience with the following is highly desirable:

• Frontend Testing: React.js applications
• Backend Testing: .NET Core services

Tools & Frameworks:

• xUnit or similar for automated testing
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD
• Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for UI automation
• Postman or similar for API testing

Practices:

• Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
• TDD & Clean Code principles
• Continuous Integration and Deployment
