Overview
This role supports and stabilises a secure, on-premise compute and storage environment. The focus is on server, storage, access control, and operational infrastructure, not network design or build.
You'll be responsible for commissioning new hardware, completing migrations to replacement kit, managing obsolescence, and keeping the environment documented, patched, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Complete commissioning of a new storage facility and compute farm
Finalise migration of workloads to new hardware
Manage hardware obsolescence and lifecycle issues
Maintain clear documentation of system configurations
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure failures
Day-to-day administration of users, access, and systems within a secure project environment
